She was really looking forward to going to her upcoming 30th high
school class reunion, and naturally I knew I’d be accompanying her to
the big event – even if only to provide some much needed support and
help keep things under control.

When the much anticipated reunion weekend finally arrived, her
excitement was barely containable as she bounced around the house
getting her things ready to go.

With a 3-hour road trip ahead of us, she decided to inspect her car.
She popped out into the garage, flipped up her top, and then thoroughly
checked-out her powerful 36-inch dual chambered DD-Power-Turbo
engine (the original, not rebuilt.)  She was thankful that despite all
the mileage she’d racked up over the years, it still provided reliable and
relatively problem-free service with only the barest of maintenance;
once a year with a professional, and her monthly hands-on inspections
at home.

Satisfied with what was happening under the hood, she tossed her two
well-packed bags into the trunk, turned on her headlights, adjusted her
high beams, and then fiddled around with the knobs on her dashboard
for a while before finally, she felt up for leaving!

She cranked up the tunes and soon we were rollin’ down the highway
singing along to some of my all-time favorite hits like; “Up Where We
Belong” and “Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher & Higher!”
